I’m Hayley,
a UX designer based in Seattle.
Over the past 7 years, I’ve gotten a chance to design digital products for startups, corporates, nonprofits, and government agencies.
At SEIU 775 Benefits Group where I currently work as a Senior UI Designer, I immerse myself in the problem space around the home care workforce in Washington state and craft meaningful design solutions that make a real impact on our caregivers’ lives.
Creating accessible design and social good is at the center of my design practice. Within my design process, I particularly enjoy:
- Making sense of problems by mapping experiences, processes, patterns, and relationships
- Translating complex information into a digestible and engaging format
Before my design career, I studied fine arts in high school and college. This experience, combined with my observational and analytical skills, helped me become a designer with an eye for detail which is essential for well-created user interfaces and visual design.
When not working, you can find me drinking coffee, practicing Ashtanga yoga, paddle boarding, trying to live greener, and making candles.
